La Fabrique is a set made up of several elements forming a small factory that can be used as a candle holder and/or bookend. This sculptural object is made in self-production from two traditional cold-sculpted and varnished terracotta bricks. This creation is made in the Aequo workshop located in Douai: local, careful and reasoned production. Each brick is unique, the designers use them as they are, with their flaws, their rough edges, their trademarks, their history.
   La Fabrique celebrates the exceptional industrial heritage of the Hauts-de-France region. Brick is a material that has particularly shaped Nordic landscapes. Loved by the material and the earth, the designers of Aequo decided to highlight it: the brick leaves its status as a construction material to become an object of creation.
   Like the city of Roubaix, La Fabrique embraces culture and will continue to shine for centuries. Like a work of art, the brick then takes on a prestigious dimension and invites itself into the interior of the home.
