 Small, suspended decorative elements, the term "PAMPILLES" originally referred to the buds, catkins, and other young shoots of plants. PAMPILLES enhance the brilliance of crystal chandeliers, just as pine cones and other blown-glass elements contribute to the reputation of Christmas ornaments from Goetzenbruck and Meisenthal.
Like a return to their roots, each of these stylized leaves is crafted from the very essence of the tree it represents: maple, ash, beech, and oak.
This series of PAMPILLES testifies to the fact that, like glassmaking techniques, the forest of Bitcherland is recognized for its inestimable value as a heritage of humanity.
