Dans un second temps, en immersion dans l’entreprise, aequo a co-imaginé une installation artistique pour l'exposition "Design: Please do so" organisée par Lille Design. Cette installation utilise la majorité des matériaux et techniques disponibles dans l’entreprise à travers une œuvre unique.
Ville en veille, Réactivez !
L’installation représente un paysage urbain imaginaire inspiré de la ville de Tourcoing et de son architecture industrielle. Dans son état initial, ce paysage est au repos, monochrome et sans mouvement. Il représente l’état actuel de la ville post industrielle, en latence depuis la fermeture des usines textiles et prête au renouveau. Le visiteur est invité à interagir avec ce paysage pour l’animer, le réactiver. Chaque module est interactif, ainsi un groupe de visiteurs pourra rendre ce paysage intégralement animé. L’état réactivé est alors atteint, le paysage s’illumine, bouge, se colorise et retentit. C’est par l’action humaine collective que la ville retrouve sa vitalité. La ville en veille est réactivée !
EN_ As part of the “artistic residency in companies” program initiated by the DRAC and Lille Design, Aequo was brought to work with the digital printing and illuminated sign company Panorama. After discovering the company, its know-how and its materials, the studio led a creative workshop with the employees which gave birth to a book of recommendations for better functioning of the company.
Secondly, immersed in the company, aequo co-imagined an artistic installation for the “Design: Please do so” exhibition organized by Lille Design. This installation uses the majority of materials and techniques available in the company through a unique work.
City on standby, Reactivate!
The installation represents an imaginary urban landscape inspired by the city of Tourcoing and its industrial architecture. In its initial state, this landscape is at rest, monochrome and without movement. It represents the current state of the post-industrial city, in latency since the closure of the textile factories and ready for renewal. The visitor is invited to interact with this landscape to animate it and reactivate it. Each module is interactive, so a group of visitors will be able to make this landscape fully animated. The reactivated state is then reached, the landscape lights up, moves, becomes colored and resonates. It is through collective human action that the city regains its vitality. The dormant city is reactivated!
